KemKids Dance Studio is seeking Dance Teachers, Assistant Dance Teachers and Substitute Dance Teachers for classes located in Palm Beach County.
You can supplement your current schedule with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week teaching dance at Local Elementary Schools and give back to your community at the same time.
We currently have over 600 students at 39 school locations in Palm Beach County and we continue to expand every day! KemKids Dance Studio is a great company to grow with and we offer a variety of opportunities.
Dance Teacher Responsibilities:
- Ability to teach using various styles and methodologies.
- Prepare lesson plans.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Choreograph routines.
- Provide a safe, fun and creative environment.
Substitute Dance Teacher Responsibilities:
- Available to teach given short notice.
- Ability to teach using various styles and methodologies.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Provide a safe, fun and creative environment.

Assistant Dance Teacher Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during check-in and transition to classroom.
- Support instructional portions of classes which may include: – General class management
- Supervise students during check-out and transition to aftercare and parents.
– Lead warm-ups
– Help younger students
– Encourage student participation
– Lead breakout groups
– Help keep students engaged
– Support with additional needs such as first-aid and bathroom breaks
Requirements for all Positions:
- Previous relevant dance teacher experience required.
- Good communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Reliable Transportation.
